Keswick Cycle opened its doors for business
in 1933 as Glenside's neighborhood bike shop. Bicycles
were still a fledgling market then, and bike sales and
service were being supplemented with everything from
lawnmower work to model train sales, transforming it
into a bike and hobby shop. As specialization in the
industry increased, bicycles once again became the primary
focus, and Keswick's partnership with Schwinn Bicycles
(one of the first in the country) made the store a nationally
known name in the industry. Through the years Keswick
Cycle maintained its reputation for excellence as a
neighborhood bike shop while continuing to add products
and expertise, serving an ever growing cycling community.
Today Keswick Cycle stands as the premier bike shop
of the Greater Philadelphia area. While we offer a broader,
more exciting product line than ever before, our time
tested principles have not changed. In 2001 and 2002,
the last year the category was offered, Keswick Cycle
won Philadelphia Magazine's coveted "Best of Philly"
award for best bike shop. Customer service, expertise,
and a can-do attitude remain the pillars of our business
philosophy.
Finally, we're people who love bikes. At work our spare
moments are usually spent reminiscing about our last
ride or planning our next. We look forward to seeing
